Troy Cassel is an operations and finance professional with an emphasis on health care policy and delivery and more than a decade in the corporate and nonprofit sector. As Director of Special Projects at Mobile Health, he is an integral member of the organization’s leadership team, charged with identifying, creating, and implementing strategic initiatives aimed at growing the business and improving outcomes.
Prior to joining Mobile Health, he served as Director of Business Operations for Nonprofit HR, providing firm-wide operations and financial management, as well as execution of its strategic growth plan.
He is the former Manager of Finance and Operations at Sellers Dorsey, a health care consulting firm that has played a key role in health care reform initiatives in states and localities across the nation. Other experience includes serving as Associate Director of Operations for the American Cancer Society’s Cancer Action Network and as Director of Operations at Freedom House, a nonprofit dedicated to pro-democracy and human rights work throughout the world.
Troy began his career as a reporter for StateNet, a LexisNexis subsidiary, where he covered State Assembly legislative initiatives in Pennsylvania.
He is a graduate of Gettysburg College and remains involved as a volunteer mentor at the College. He is a former member of the Victory Fund Campaign Board and has served as a gubernatorial appointee to the Pennsylvania Architecture Board and on the board of directors of the Mazzoni Center, a community health care clinic in Philadelphia.
